The Scarpa Chimera Rock shoe is a highly asymmetrical climbing shoe with a downturned shape and a medium to high angled toe box for excellent toe power. The relion plastic heel insert provides good stability to the shoe and with a TPS plastic insert, SRT toe rand system and a PCB active randing system, the Chimera is the pinnacle of a modern climbing shoe design. The Multi-panel upper with seamless big toe panel and offset four toe stitch that provides the best custom moulding fit. The twin locking lace arm panel is stitched into the shoe upper to reduce layers and increase heel tension. TPS plastic insert with floating big toe pad for a concave profile with sensitivity and a a plastic heel insert to maintain heel tension and shape. The PCB active randing system gives the shoe top-level flexibility but still maintains the shape of the shoe over its life. The SRT toe rand system with Morphix rubber and the 3.5mm 1/3 length XS Grip 2 foot pad with a handcrafted 2mm XS Grip 2 heel offers unrivalled toe-hooking ability and grip.
